The palm tree belongs to one of the most extensively cultivated plant families, playing an important role throughout much of history. It can produce up to 200 dates in a single cluster while its branches offer relief against the hot, desert sun. It's leafstalks have been used to record ancient narrations while its leaves were used to make paper and history documents that the
palm tree was used to treat medical ailments. Referred to as the blessed tree of life, the palm is a symbol of longevity, stability, hospitality and fortitude.
